Today we received our plaque from Science Foundation Ireland to celebrate our STEM excellence. We are delighted to again receive this award. Please see below a small sample of the work, contributed from all classes in the school, which made up our portfolio of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths work and activities taking place in the school. Discover Primary Science and Maths Award '17-'18

We have been working hard putting together samples of our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) learning, lessons, experiments and activities recently. 

Fingers crossed we will again be awarded the plaque of Science and Maths Excellence again this year!

Infant Engineering!

We wish to acknowledge and express our sincere thanks to engineers; Richie O’Sullivan, Cian Burke and Stephen Nash for coming to visit the Junior and Senior Infant classes throughout Engineer’s Week 2018. Their presentations and demonstrations of their fields of work were truly inspirational.
